Tribhuvan Secondary School Library
Tribhuvan Secondary School is located in Kispang rural municipality, Ward no 5 in Nuwakot district, Nepal.
It is in a rural part of the district approximately 24km north west of Bidur the district headquarters
The school’s main objective is to provide quality education free of cost

Shree Tribhuvan Secondary School is a government school situated beneath the beautiful Himalaya mountains.
It was officially established in 2023
and formally registered by the government of Nepal.
Currently the school facilitates classes from nursery
to year ten.
There are currently 228 students (118 boys) (110 girls)
There is 17 staff members in total. They work as teachers, assistants, and administrators.
There are 3 buildings with 12 classrooms in total
The School Management Committee has 9 members
The Parents Teachers Association has 11 members
At present the school has only three buildings with 16 rooms.
In total there are 12 classes running at the school with students walking more than an hour to attend school.
The school would like to increase their student capacity, create a library facility, upgrade their bathrooms, improve
the clean drinking water facilities, and add security fencing around the compound.
The Active Hearts Foundation wishes to provide Tribhuvan Secondary School a library facility.
Estimated costs for a new School Library Facility:
1 – Custom built book shelving 300,000
2 – Carpet and cushions 50,000
3 – Paint and decorating 40,000
4 – Work and reading tables 60,000
5 – Curricular related books 400,000
Total cost: 850,000 Npr ($10,000 NZD)
Please assist us in creating a safe, functional library learning facility for the students of
Tribhuvan Secondary School.
Once the money is raised, we will oversee the build and refit of the designated library
room, assist in the purchase and delivery of the new library books requested and provide
guidance during a transitional period towards self-management.
We have a completion goal of November 1st, 2023
This project is a special priority project for the ‘Heartspace Expeditions Charity Trek 2023’
The international guests joining the 2023 Heartspace Expeditions trek will be fundraising for this
school project and have the opportunity to visit the facility when they trek the Himalaya in
November 2023.
