‘Adventure Out Loud’ Ganesh Himal Trek Nepal – March 2024

A group of amazing humans from Adventure Out Loud in Australia will be joining Heartspace Expeditions in trekking across the Ganesh Himal foothills of the Himalaya in March 2024.

Adventure Out Loud are the African impact adventure specialists and just like Heartspace Expeditions, a social enterprise. This means making a positive impact with the communities in the environments we operate in is how we measure the success of our business.

The team will be hiking the Ganesh Himal Charity Trek in support of the Active Hearts Foundation. As a part of their journey they are fundraising for a new library facility at Nawajeevan Secondary School in Kakani village, Nuwakot district.

They will be present at the opening ceremony of the project whilst on their trek.

Shree Nawajeevan Secondary School is a progressive school with technical agricultural education classes.

These classes teach aspects of Nepal horticulture and small business learnings. The aim is to provide quality education, self-reliant and sustainable practices

In total there are 579 students and a total of 29 staff members. A new library would provide much needed resources and books relevant to the agricultural programs as well as the other subjects.

They have a fundraising goal of $7500 NZD
