Opening Soon: The Sewak Orphanage Reading & Learning Centre

Sewak, Nepal — We are counting down the days! After months of hard work, planning, and construction, the latest major project at the Sewak Orphanage is nearing the finish line.
On May 2nd, we will help to officially open the doors to the new Reading & Learning Centre, a space designed to be a hub of growth, education, and health for the children in the care of the Sewak Orphanage.
More Than Just a Library
While the heart of the centre is the new library, we wanted to ensure this building serves the children's needs holistically. The completed facility will include:
A Modern Library: A quiet, inspiring space filled with books to spark imagination and literacy.
Computer Room: Providing the digital tools and connectivity essential for modern education.
On-site Clinic: A dedicated space for medical check-ups and care, ensuring the children’s wellbeing is always a priority.
The Final Countdown
As you can see from the latest field photos, the structure is really taking shape. The scaffolding is up, the brickwork is complete, and the team on the ground is working tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for the grand opening.
Seeing the children stand in front of their new school building reminds us exactly why this work is so vital. This isn't just a building; it’s a promise of a better, more supported future for every student at Sewak.
